Misty Taylor, MSW, LCSW

Misty Taylor completed an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Studies at Moorpark Comm. College followed by a Bachelor of Social Work degree at SDSU in 2010.  Misty finished her Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2013 also at SDSU as well as an internship at Southern Indian Health Council and Indian Health Council (Rincon) leading to licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  Misty has a combined total of 13 years of experience as a social worker in Indian Country, with expertise in Indian Child Welfare.  She is a second generation Native American social worker.  Misty is a Kumeyaay native, a Tribal Council Member of the Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel, and enjoys painting, reading, learning, yoga, and the outdoors.
